This March sees our Dr Ward holding a seminar at Barnett’s Conference on Lyophilization in Brussels, Belgium. Barnett’s is recognised as a leader in clinical education and training, and their conferences are an excellent opportunity to network and meet with highly regarded industry experts. Along with Vicky Kett from Queen’s University of Belfast, Dr Ward will be giving an in-depth seminar on the use of freeze drying microscopy and thermal analysis to provide essential freezing and drying data that are specific to lyo-products.
 
In keeping with an ever-expanding international customer base, Biopharma Technology continues to promote itself worldwide, this time in the Far East. BTL’s Kevin Ward and Tony Gaster are heading out to Singapore in April to exhibit at Interphex Asia, an annual conference/exhibition organised in conjunction with ISPE. Bringing together international suppliers, industry regulators and pharmaceutical professionals, this event is a unique opportunity to learn about and showcase the latest trends in pharmaceutical technology. As well as sharing their expertise in lyophilization, Tony and Kevin will also be on hand to discuss BTL’s R&D and consultancy services. BTL’s instruments for freeze-drying analysis, Lyostat2 and the new Lyotherm2, will be on the stand with them for demonstration.
