NEWS LyoHealth Check Goes on Tour This November BTL’s Marc Townell was globetrotting once more, this time to the Far East to showcase the new LyoHealth Check service and get some feedback from prospective customers. Japan’s biotechnology industry has been showing strong progress in recent years due to support from the government and strong links between public, private and academic sectors. Meanwhile South Korea’s pharmaceutical market is one of the most promising in the world, with a solid local manufacturing base that is increasingly turning its attention to research and development of novel drugs. The LyoHealth Check provides an evaluation of existing freeze drying processes, with analysis and advice on improvements to save time and money. LyoHealth Check is suitable for anyone currently freeze drying, whether the processes are long-standing or still in pilot stages. But the earlier the process can be optimised, the higher the cost benefits will be. The first stop on Marc’s tour was a week in Japan. Accompanied by BTL agents Mr Tojo of Eastcore and Mr Hayashi of Nippon Science Core, Marc travelled from Tokyo to Kobe to meet and greet contacts. Next stop was three days in South Korea with the Hahnson Impex Company, and their president Mr Y J Bahng, who will be representing BTL in Korea. If you feel that the LyoHealth Check service would be something that your product is in need of, then please see our website or contact Marc for further information. We are pleased to announce that our special introductory period for the LyoHealth Check service has been extended until the end of 2009, so get your orders in to make the most of this opportunity.
